Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the 45th Overwatch 2 hero will be revealed on November 17th, 2025, at 9:00 AM PT.
A video premiere is live on YouTube, where fans will be able to catch a first look at the hero shooter’s new character.
Similar to previous heroes like Wuyang, the trailer will likely offer a glimpse into her in-game model, voice lines, gameplay and more.
The developers have been teasing details about the upcoming character ever since she first appeared in the background of the Overwatch 2 Spotlight back in February.
Throughout 2025, hints have been dropped about the gladiator hero, including displaying her sword in Arena Victoria, appearing in the Reconciliation Ramattra comic, and featuring as a rare ‘Lupa mask’ in the Haunted Masquerade Halloween event.
Her release date has not been confirmed. However, she is anticipated by fans to arrive in Season 20. Aaron Keller, Game Director of Overwatch 2, shared in a blog post that the upcoming season will include a new feature for the ‘highest-skilled players’, alongside another Stadium map in a unique locale.
The OWCS
The trailer arrives at a critical point in the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS). Following several weeks of intense matches in Stage 3, all eyes are now on the OWCS 2025 World Finals in DreamHack Stockholm.
The top 12 qualified teams from Stage 3, representing regions such as Americas, EMEA, and Asia, will compete from November 26th to November 20th to be crowned this season’s OWCS champion.
The competition will see recognisable organisations play on stage, including OWCS Mid-Season Championship winners Team Falcons, and Champions Clash winners Crazy Raccoon. However, only time will tell which team will come out on top and claim the lion’s share of its prize pool, which is being boosted by crowdfunding bundles.
Other events will also be held in 2025, including the Overwatch Shanghai Masters Invitational 2025 showmatch on December 6th, and the Saudi eLeague 2025 Championship running from November 18th to 19th, 2025.
